Jerry's Colonies | Build your Civilization Mod

Addons / Addons 1.21

Jerry’s Colonies | Build Your Civilization (Minecraft Bedrock)

If you’re bored of “solo base → nether → end” and want real politics, run Jerry’s Colonies. The idea is simple: turn your server into a civilization sim where players form colonies, claim land, write laws, trade, and fight over borders—multiplayer first, heavy on roleplay and factions.

How we play it: day one, a squad drops a town center spot, plants banners to mark borders, and writes a Colony Charter (book + quill) with rules: taxes, ranks, who can build, who can carry weapons in town. From there, assign jobs—Governor/Mayor, Diplomat, Quartermaster, Guard, Farmer/Builder. Use emeralds or custom tokens as currency. The Quartermaster runs a tax chest (weekly drop), the Diplomat handles treaties in writing (trade rights, road access, mutual defense), and Guards patrol gates at night.

Growth loop: build roads to new resource sites, set custom checkpoints, and open a market square for inter-colony trade. Host fairs, charge stall fees, and negotiate mining rights in neighboring hills. When talks fail, you go to limited war: announce a time window, fight clean, and use siege rules (no grief beyond outer walls; capture the town hall = win). Winners can demand tribute or vassal terms; losers keep their builds—no wipe.

Tips that matter:
Keep maps on walls and update borders weekly.
Write passports (named papers) so guards can check visitors.
Build neutral embassies in capital towns to keep diplomacy sane.

If your Realm wants real stories—alliances, betrayals, trade routes—Jerry’s Colonies | Build Your Civilization is the framework that makes Minecraft feel like history in the making.
