Player Genders Mod

Player Genders mod keeps things simple: you decide your gender through your skin PNG instead of a clunky in-game menu. Day to day, it feels seamless—import a skin that follows the pack’s template rules, load your world, and your character reads correctly without changing how you move, craft, or fight. It’s great for Realms or SMPs where everyone wants clearer identity cues without swapping to a different model.
Workflow is straightforward. Make two copies of your favorite skin, one per gender, and edit them in any image editor that can handle PNG transparency. Follow the addon’s detection method (usually a filename tag like “_female”/“_male” or a tiny marker pixel in a specified corner—check the included guide). Keep the canvas 64×64 (or 128×128 if your base is high-res), avoid stray alpha holes around the torso and arms, and export as PNG. In Bedrock, go Profile → Edit Character → Owned → Import, select your edited file, and you’re set.
For multiplayer, install Player Genders mod on the world or Realm so everyone sees the same result. Pin both variants in your favorites to switch fast before events. If a skin doesn’t register, clear cached skins, reapply the PNG, and relaunch. Armor overlays and elytra work as expected—third-person is handy to double-check your silhouette before screenshots.
