Diagonal Fence and Walls Mod

Diagonal Fence and Walls mod fixes the biggest eyesore in base building: angled lines. These pieces connect diagonally to each other, so you can trace a smooth path along roads, garden edges, and cliff rims without the stair-step look. Crafting is simple—same material cost as vanilla, just an altered layout—so you can start using them in early survival instead of waiting on rare blocks.
The placement flow is easy once you get the feel. Drop a corner post, stand a block back at a 45°, and place diagonals toward the bend so the line “reads” clean from the main approach. On slopes, alternate a diagonal with an occasional full block or stair to keep the top rail level; slab under tricky spots to close tiny gaps and keep mobs from sneaking through. Light every few posts with lanterns so patrols don’t spawn on the shoulder, and leave a one-block straight section for a vanilla gate where you want entrances.
For Realms builds, color-code districts by material—spruce for housing rows, stone for city walls—so routes are readable at a glance. Before committing a long run, test one panel and walk a mob along it to confirm collision feels right on your server tickrate. With Diagonal Fence and Walls mod in play, your roads, pens, and terraces finally line up with the way you actually build.
