TC Parachute Addon by TheConverse8110 mod is a simple safety net that fits straight into Survival. Craft the parachute at a normal table, keep it on your hotbar, and activate it when you step off a ledge. The slow-fall effect kicks in immediately, so you get a smooth, controlled drop instead of panic-mashing a water bucket. Steering is tied to your look direction—tilt toward roads, docks, or farm terraces to stick the landing where you actually want to be.
Day to day, set a “jump ring” at base with campfire smoke so you always have a visual line for long descents. Third-person makes rooftop landings easier to judge; swap back to first-person for narrow canyon touches. If you’re running Elytra, treat the parachute as your backup: deploy it when a glide goes bad, then cancel early if you can make a water pool for a faster exit. I stash a spare in the ender chest and keep one in a utility slot next to food and blocks.
