Paintable Furniture Mod

Addons / Addons 1.21

Paintable Furniture mod is straight quality-of-life for builders who live in Survival. Craft Paint Pots with regular dyes, make a Paintbrush, and start swapping wood tones for clean color across chairs, tables, shelves, and more. Because Achievements are On, this slides right into long saves and Realms without breaking your progress. I keep a dye barrel by the workstation and knock out a dozen Paint Pots at once so I’m not stopping mid-build to cook colors.

Day to day, use color like a tool. Mark storage aisles with consistent hues so your muscle memory sticks—greens for farming, reds for smelting, blues for water gear. Lay furniture first in bare wood to confirm spacing, then do a single paint pass so you don’t waste pots on placements you’ll move. If you’re staging thumbnails or tours, paint accent pieces near sightlines and leave trim blocks natural to avoid visual noise.

On multiplayer, the Paintable Furniture mod solves readability. Assign teams or districts a palette and keep a “loaner” chest of Paint Pots at spawn so folks can match the neighborhood style. When you’re expanding, craft extra brushes and leave them in room kits with signs naming the intended color. It’s a simple loop—craft pots, paint with the brush, iterate—that makes bases look finished without adding grind.
