SOUL WITCH: Spooky New Boss & Ghosts Mod

Ghosts now haunt roofed forests and pale gardens after dark, gliding like Vex, sometimes phasing through blocks and tagging you with Weakness. Carry a milk bucket to clear the debuff mid-fight, then finish them from range before they dive again. Ectoplasm is your new currency: craft Ectoplasm Eyes with an Eye of Ender to pop invis, yeet upward, and slow-fall with a speed burst—perfect for ditching a bad pull. Make a Stunning Whistle with Ectoplasm + copper to freeze nearby mobs for a breather; it has cooldown and durability, so repair it with Ectoplasm and save it for swarms.



Decor heads get toys too. Four Ectoplasm makes a soul-spewing block—grab it with Silk Touch or you’ll lose materials—while Ghostly Bricks stonecut into slabs, stairs, walls, and even cracked/chiseled variants for haunted builds. On Realms, set a lantern trail through the forest and split roles: one kites, one snipes, one runs whistle support and milk.

To face the boss, craft a Malice Lurer and find a ghostly-brick altar with a Haunted Core, then use the lurer to unleash the Soul Witch. She teleports, duplicates, summons spirits, and throws mixed projectiles, so clear trees, set a bed, and keep distance—freeze adds with the whistle and punish her windows. Beat her and assemble the boss track from dropped fragments, then chase the loot: Spirit Sceptre (summon friendly ghosts), Soul Slasher (wither, bonus vs ghosts/witches), or a Soul Tome (sonic blasts or fireballs), plus a Wicked Hat or Wicked Robe with handy buffs and poison immunity.
