Digital Miner Mod keeps the “tech” label approachable. You craft the unit, drop it at base, open its menu, and tell it what to look for—either by picking a block from a list or feeding it a sample. Set a search radius and depth, pick whitelist or blacklist behavior, then start the cycle. The miner sweeps the area and deposits finds into its inventory or a chest you park next to it, so you’re not tunneling blindly through caves for the tenth time. Because it recognizes blocks added by other addons, it’s great for worlds packed with new ores and building materials.



Treat it like a workstation, not a magic wand. Begin with a modest radius so you don’t accidentally strip your own paths, then expand once you see where it’s digging. Keep fuel or whatever the addon uses for power handy, stage spare chests for overflow, and mark the coverage on a map so you don’t double-mine regions manually. If you’re running it near farms or redstone, blacklist those blocks to avoid accidental pulls.

On Realms or servers, the miner shines as a team tool. One player configures targets, another carts outputs to smelters, and a third tracks requests on a board. Set it inside a loaded chunk, let it hum, and your project mats arrive steadily without busywork.
