The mechanic is dead simple and super handy: when you sneak, every loose item in a 12-block bubble homes in on you; stand up to switch it off. In survival this saves minutes every session—strip-mine a vein, crouch once, watch ore slide in, then keep moving. It’s the same win for tree clearing, shoreline clay runs, and mob-farm collection pads. In the Nether, toggle it to grab blaze rods or wither bones after a fight, then flip it off before you edge a ledge.

Play it with a little discipline. Turn the magnet off near storage so you’re not vacuuming the stuff you just sorted. When you toss junk, take two steps back or face away so you don’t immediately pull it again. For messy rooms, drop a hopper chest on the floor, crouch to suck the field clean, dump into the box, stand up, and repeat. Around lava or cactus, clear the danger first; the magnet can yank valuables toward bad ground if you’re careless.

On Realms or servers, call your toggles during fights so you don’t hoover a teammate’s drops mid-revive. It’s a tiny tool that changes the rhythm of gathering in Minecraft Bedrock—less backtracking, fewer despawns, and a cleaner loop from kill or mine to chest.
