Backpacks Mod turns your off-hand slot into a legit portable storage system instead of just a shield holder. You wear the backpack by equipping it in your off-hand or by placing it on the ground and hitting it to auto-equip. If you’re already wearing one and do that, it drops cleanly, so swapping packs is simple. It works without experimental features and still keeps achievements on, which makes it perfect for long-term survival worlds and Realms where you want real progression without breaking the rules.

Upgrading is handled through a built-in menu instead of weird commands. You can either place the backpack, sneak and interact to open its upgrade interface, or just hold it in your hand and use it directly. From there, you unlock different upgrade paths. Extra Storage adds multiple pages with arrows so you can flip between inventories, turning one pack into a mini multi-tab chest you carry everywhere.



Backpacks Mod really shines once you stack upgrades together. The Magnet upgrade quietly pulls nearby drops into your pack so you’re not running around scooping every item. Security Lock lets you mark the backpack as yours so only you can open or pick it up, which is huge on shared servers. Auto-Sort gives you a button to instantly organize the current page by name or amount whenever the backpack is placed, keeping your loot tidy instead of turning into a disaster chest you avoid opening.

- Activate the settings;
- Play with the new mod!
