Egg Blocks Mod

Addons / Addons 1.21

Egg Blocks Mod is for anyone who’s ever copied a Java redstone tutorial and then hit that annoying Bedrock moment where the sticky piston always drags the block back. In Java, a quick pulse can push a block forward and leave it there, and tons of compact machines rely on that. This mod gives you an Egg Block that mimics that behavior, so you can pull off designs that normally feel way more complicated in Minecraft Bedrock—like a clean, simple bi-directional flying machine that doesn’t turn into a mess of extra pistons.

You get three new blocks to work with: the Egg Block (crafted from 9 eggs), a Century Egg Block as an alternate version, and a Preserver that slowly turns an Egg Block into a Century Egg Block if you stash it inside. Both the Egg Block and Century Egg Block are sticky when pistons push or pull them, but they don’t stick to each other, which helps a lot when you’re moving parts through tight spaces.

One important detail is timing: every block in the set, including the Preserver, has a 3-tick cooldown after being pushed. During that cooldown it becomes immovable, so it can’t be pushed or pulled again right away. Once you plan around that rhythm, it actually makes your contraptions feel more consistent instead of glitchy.
