Villager & illager Legacy Lite Mod exists because the original Villager & illager Legacy is currently broken and outdated after the creator got hacked and lost their files. With the creator’s permission, this lite version is meant to keep the spirit of that project alive while actually working in a modern Bedrock world, so you can still get that upgraded village-and-raider vibe without fighting glitches.

The biggest change you’ll notice right away is presentation. Villagers and illagers get fresh textures and updated models, which makes villages feel less “default” and more like part of a custom world. But it’s not just a visual pack—this one also focuses on behavior, with improved actions and higher “IQ” for both villagers and illagers. In play, that usually means encounters feel less predictable, and you can’t treat every raid or village run like it’s the same routine.
