Vampires Mod

Addons / Addons 1.21

Vampires Mod is a sick twist on survival because it doesn’t just throw new mobs at you—it gives you a whole “infected to monster” progression path. You’ll run into vampires out in the world with different power levels, so early on it feels like a real threat instead of free loot. If you get a Vampire Fang drop or even just get hit by a vampire, you can catch Sanguine Sickness. That sickness lasts about half a Minecraft day by default (and it’s configurable in the settings), and once it runs out, you fully turn into a vampire.

After that, the addon becomes a grind in the best way. You can power up by exploring and infusing items with blood, which makes the vampire side feel like an actual progression tree instead of a one-time transformation. There’s also a cool flex goal: if you become powerful enough, you can turn into a bat, which is the kind of ability that makes night runs and sneaky travel feel totally different.

Gear-wise, Vampires Mod adds a new ore—Silver—alongside gold, and you can infuse both with blood to craft new equipment with unique effects. You can also infuse a few other items, like turning a golden apple into a forbidden fruit, so there are real rewards for leaning into the vampire playstyle. When you create a world with Vampires Mod, you get a guidebook that explains the mechanics and includes the addon’s settings, which keeps the learning curve from being annoying.

Installation guile:
