Fireflies Mod

Fireflies Mod is one of those small addons that doesn’t try to “add content overload,” it just makes your world feel nicer. In a normal Minecraft Bedrock night, everything is basically danger and paranoia, but this addon gives you a reason to actually stop and look around. Fireflies spawn at night over water sources like rivers and oceans, so if your base is near a shoreline or you’ve got a river cutting through your builds, the whole area gets this chill, glowing atmosphere.



The best part is that it’s not permanent clutter. During the day, the fireflies despawn, so you get a clean daytime look and then the ambience kicks in again when night hits. That day/night swap makes it feel natural, like it’s part of the world’s rhythm instead of a decoration that’s always floating around.

Fireflies Mod is perfect for cozy survival worlds, roleplay servers, or anyone building docks, bridges, fishing huts, or riverside towns. Even if you’re still playing survival and fighting mobs at night, the water areas become these little “safe vibe” spots where not everything feels hostile. It’s a simple add-on, but it makes nighttime travel along rivers and coasts feel way more alive.
