Stair & Slab Carpets Mod

Stair & Slab Carpets Mod is a straight builder-quality-of-life addon for anyone who’s ever tried to make a fancy staircase or a sunken living room and got annoyed that carpets only behave like flat floor tiles. This pack adds four new carpet shapes: Slab Carpet, Slab Carpet (sideless), Stair Carpet, and Stair Carpet (sideless). So you can actually finish a grand staircase, line a step-down lounge, or make smoother interior transitions without doing janky block tricks.

Customization stays easy. After you place a carpet, you can dye it into any of the 16 colors by interacting with it, which makes decorating fast when you’re matching a palette. It’s also harder to accidentally break, since it requires a double-attack to remove, so you’re not ripping up your build every time you misclick during a tour or a fight in your house.



There are a couple extra touches too. If you use the carpet versions with sides, you can sit on them, which is perfect for making cushy steps, bench corners, or cozy hangout spots in a server hub. Stair carpets also try to automatically match the shape of the stair underneath, and if it looks off, you can usually fix it by placing while facing a different direction. The addon even mentions a hidden jeb_ sheep Easter egg, so there’s at least one little secret baked in.

One important tradeoff: all carpets are entities. That can introduce a small amount of lag, but it’s also why the addon can do the cool stuff—better compatibility with older versions, sitting functionality, and fewer technical limits overall.
