The Last Dragon Mod

The Last Dragon Mod is basically the “I want a dragon in my survival world” addon, but it actually gives you a clear way to earn it. Wild dragons and dragon eggs can spawn naturally, so finding one feels like a real discovery instead of just grabbing a spawn egg and calling it a day. If you run into a wild dragon, you can tame it using cooked chicken, cooked beef, or cooked porkchop, which makes the whole thing feel like you’re feeding and earning trust rather than doing some random magic ritual.



The egg route is its own little side quest. You light a dragon egg with flint and steel (right-click it), then wait five minutes. After that, you can tame it, which is a cool “commitment check” for survival because you’re protecting the spot, waiting it out, and basically babysitting your future mount.

Once you’ve got your dragon, you equip it with a saddle and you’re ready to fly. The control is super simple: you steer the flight by looking up or down, so it feels natural when you’re climbing over mountains, diving toward a base, or just cruising across biomes to scout new build spots.
