Health Bar (API) Mod is a super clean quality-of-life addon for combat, especially if you hate number spam or you’re playing on smaller screens. Instead of showing damage values, it uses color variations to tell you how healthy a mob (or enemy) is, so you can make fast decisions mid-fight without stopping to guess if they’re one hit or still tanky.
The color meanings are straight to the point: red means the target is near death, orange is critical, yellow is a light warning, green is healthy, and blue is very healthy. That’s perfect for PvE situations where you’re clearing caves or raiding structures and you need to know if it’s worth finishing a fight or backing off. It also helps in multiplayer combat because you can quickly focus targets that are already low without needing callouts like “he’s on 3 hearts.”
Since it’s color-based, it keeps the screen feeling cleaner while still giving you useful info. Once you get used to the palette, you’ll start playing more confidently because you’re not wasting swings or resources on enemies that are clearly still in the “blue/green” zone. If you want smarter fights without turning your HUD into a spreadsheet, Health Bar (API) Mod is the move.
