Grappling Hook Mod

Grappling Hook Mod is all about movement feeling fun instead of just “walk, sprint, repeat.” You craft the grappling hook, aim at a surface, and fire it to create an anchor point—then the mod lets you swing in a curved, natural path instead of yanking you in a straight-line teleport. The momentum system is the sauce here: if you’re already moving, the hook flies faster and your swing builds speed, so it feels like you’re actually learning routes through caves, ravines, and mountain sides instead of just spamming jumps.
Controls stay simple. You aim, use the item to shoot, then jump for auto-pull or hold jump for manual pulling depending on how you want to move. If you need to bail instantly, just switch items to remove the hook. It’s the kind of tool that makes exploring old areas feel fresh again because suddenly every cliff face is a playground and every mineshaft has new lines to try.
There’s also built-in fall damage protection for 5 seconds, which is clutch because grappling around always leads to at least one “yeah I totally meant to do that” landing. And since this Grappling Hook Mod is achievement-friendly, it’s an easy add to survival worlds where you still want legit progression. Just keep in mind the addon’s in an early stage, so bugs can happen—honestly, that’s pretty normal for physics-heavy movement stuff. Even so, it already nails that Spider-Man-style flow where you’re swinging, building speed, and threading through terrain like you own the map.
