Expanded Waypoints Mod is perfect if you’re tired of juggling coords in your notes or getting lost between bases, mines, and villages. You get a clean, personal waypoint setup that lets you mark important locations and jump back to them without turning your world into a public fast-travel hub for everyone.
The core loop is super straightforward. You run /expanded_waypoints:point, hit Enter, and it pops open an interface where you can create new waypoints, delete old ones, or teleport to one you already saved. You can store up to 35 waypoints, which is enough for a main base, temporary camps, farms, strongholds, portals, and all those random “I swear I’ll come back here” spots you find while exploring.
What keeps it from feeling free or cheesy is the travel cost. Expanded Waypoints Mod charges you 1 XP for every 1,000 blocks, so short hops feel cheap, but cross-map jumps actually make you think. That makes it fit survival pacing way better than totally free teleports, especially when you’re deciding whether it’s worth burning XP or just taking the long run. Also, the waypoints are strictly yours—only the player who created them can use them for teleportation—so it stays personal, keeps servers cleaner, and avoids waypoint abuse between players.
