Late Soviet Gear Mod

Late Soviet Gear Mod is for players who want a colder, more old-school military look instead of the usual modern US-style gear packs. The whole addon is built around that late Soviet aesthetic—heavy vests, thick uniforms, and helmets that look like they belong in a harsh, frozen checkpoint. It’s mostly a style and role-play addon, but it’s also great for PvP servers where teams want matching kits that actually look like a faction instead of random mixed armor.



The gear list hits the classics. You’ve got the 6B3 vest and the 6B2 vest with a Poyas-A setup, so you can choose different vest looks without everything feeling the same. For headgear, it includes Altyn helmets in both versions (with visor and without), plus SSH-68 helmets for that simple steel-helmet vibe. If you want to lean into the “winter patrol” feel, the Soviet fur hats are an easy win for screenshots and role-play moments.

The uniforms are a big part of the theme too, with accurate looks like the Afghanka and KLMK, and the addon also includes TTsKO to round out the camo style. Late Soviet Gear Mod works best when you build around it—snowy outposts, concrete bunkers, border towers, or a gritty city map—because the gear instantly sells the era and makes your squad look like an actual unit.
