Expanded Backpacks Mod

Expanded Backpacks Mod is one of those “why isn’t this vanilla?” addons, because it solves the most annoying part of survival: your inventory filling up every five minutes. You get multiple backpack tiers with clear capacity jumps, starting with the Default and Dyed Backpacks at 27 slots, then Copper at 36, Iron at 54, Gold at 63, Diamond at 72, and Netherite topping out at 88 slots. That progression feels natural because you can start small and scale up as your world gets bigger and your trips get longer.



Using it is super simple. You don’t have to place the backpack down like a chest—just hold it in your hand. On mobile, an “Open” button shows up, and on PC you right-click to access it, so it stays quick during mining runs, looting structures, or hauling blocks for big builds. One little quirk is dimension travel: if you go through a portal while holding the backpack and it won’t open right away, you just take it out of your hand and put it back, and it works again.

There’s also a smart safety rule: when the backpack is in your hand, it locks, meaning you can’t move it around or shove it inside itself. That prevents the classic “bag inside bag” mess and keeps your storage from breaking in weird ways.
