Elemental Weaponry Expansion Addon

Addons / Addons 26

The Elemental Weaponry Expansion addon drops seven unique katanas into Minecraft, each tied to a specific element like fire, ice, or shadow. Instead of just handing you basic reskinned swords with inflated damage numbers, this mod brings a completely custom combat framework to the table, giving every blade its own playstyle, passive perks, and massive ultimate attacks.

Mindlessly spam clicking your target won't get you very far with these weapons. The mod features a built-in combo system that rewards you with bonus effects when you string together three or six hits in a row. If you right-click, you'll unleash a heavy five-phase ultimate move that handles everything from the initial charge-up to the final impact, filling the screen with custom particle effects and synced audio. Your weapon even has a dynamic aura that glows noticeably brighter the longer you stay in the middle of a brawl.

Things get even more interesting when you start mixing different elements. The addon uses cross-element interactions, meaning you can shatter an enemy previously frozen by an ice blade for extra damage, or use the holy katana to instantly wipe away dark marks left by a shadow weapon. Because every single blade tracks its own specific status effect—like heat, static charge, or fractures—you actually have to plan your loadout instead of just sticking to one weapon.

Performance-wise, the developer built the entire system natively on Minecraft's Script API rather than relying on clunky, laggy command blocks. This keeps the game running smoothly even in busy multiplayer worlds where multiple people are triggering heavy visual finishers at the exact same time. All cooldowns and status metrics are tracked independently per player, so you don't have to worry about your timers glitching out because of someone else. There is also an optional debug mode you can turn on to see live readouts of your active combos and timers right on your screen. While this initial release focuses strictly on the katana line, the backend code was built from the ground up to easily support new weapon types and extra elements in future updates.
