Improved Zombie Apocalypse Mod

Surviving the first night in vanilla Minecraft is usually a total joke. You just dig a tiny hole, wait a few minutes, and you are totally fine. The SinMints Improved Zombie Apocalypse addon completely destroys that easy safety net. It turns your standard survival world into an absolute nightmare. The biggest game changer here is that zombies no longer burn up in the sunlight. They roam around freely during the day, meaning sleeping in a bed does not save you.



These custom zombies are incredibly aggressive. They have a completely revamped vision system, allowing them to spot you from miles away. They constantly spawn in terrifying swarms of ten to thirty undead at a time. Even hiding underground does not help, since these huge hordes will easily flood the darkest caves.

Every single zombie features a creepy new texture, and the biome-specific villagers add a genuinely cool touch to the environment. You really have to watch your back around water though, because the Drowned now swim at absolutely ridiculous speeds. The only real upside to all this total chaos is the drastically increased drop rate for iron ingots. It is brutally hard, but it makes every single supply run feel completely exhilarating.
