End and Slabs Addon

The End dimension has felt pretty empty for a long time, and this addon is basically the overhaul everyone has been waiting for. It pulls heavily from the Echoing Void DLC in Minecraft Dungeons, totally completely revamping the dimension to make it actually worth exploring. You get six biomes in total, a new structure to figure out, and new mobs like the Blastling, Snareling, and Watchling straight from the spin-off game.

One of the coolest technical tricks in this pack is how it handles double slabs. Instead of just looking like a thicker slab, stacking two together actually retextures them into a completely different design. It's a really smart way to give builders new block options without cluttering the game's code with extra items. On top of that, you get full new building sets for Endstone, Dark Purpur, and even a completely new Chorus wood type.



The gear additions are also genuinely useful instead of just being cosmetic. There are three new armor sets that come with actual set bonuses. For example, Light Netherite gives you extra invincibility frames to stop players from comboing you, while the Sturdy Shulker set can block projectiles and occasionally fire off homing bullets at whatever is attacking you. Throw in some nice quality-of-life tweaks like Dark Prismarine walls and new crafting recipes, and it’s just a massive, well-rounded upgrade for the endgame.
