Spylight — Spyglass as Flashlight Mod

This addon simply saves at the beginning of the game, when you go down into a dark cave and can't see anything at all, and putting torches at every step is just plain lazy. It turns an ordinary telescope into a real flashlight. You just need to pick it up, and wherever you look, the game will automatically create maximum lighting. This works both deep underwater and when you need to see ore somewhere high on the ceiling.

The developer has also greatly simplified the crafting of this thing. Now, instead of searching for amethyst geodes for a long time, you can use an ordinary glass panel, so you can make such a flashlight literally in the first minutes of survival. And when you zoom in on the camera, the game neatly draws a night vision effect without any unnecessary particles, so that the picture is as bright and clear as possible.



By the way, the kit comes with an optional texture pack that gives the pipe a cool 3D model and completely removes that annoying black frame around the edges of the screen when aiming. And a huge plus is that this addon does not block achievements at all, so you can safely put it on your main world and just enjoy exploring.
