Tanks | Drivable Battle Tank Mod

If you've ever wanted to just roll through your Minecraft world in heavy artillery, this add-on lets you craft and drive your very own fully functional battle tank. It isn't just a basic reskinned horse, either—it actually controls like a real tracked vehicle.

The combat and driving mechanics are surprisingly detailed. Whenever you hop in, the camera automatically pulls back into a custom third-person view so you can actually see where you are going. You get a really clean HUD that includes an alignment indicator and a smart crosshair to help you calculate your shell drop. The cannon takes about three seconds to reload, and the explosive shells have a proper ballistic arc. The best part is that the explosions won't do any block damage, so you don't have to worry about accidentally blowing a massive hole in your own base while testing it out.



The creator completely nailed the visual feedback, too. The tracks kick up dust and smoke as you drive around, and firing the cannon gives you a really satisfying recoil shake, muzzle flash, and tracer effect. To get your hands on one, you just need to combine some Iron Blocks, a Blast Furnace, and some Smooth Stone at a crafting table.
