Portal Gun Mod

Moving across a late-game Minecraft map is a chore. You either spend hours building ice roads in the Nether or risk throwing Ender pearls in dangerous caves. This addon pulls the dimension-hopping concept straight from Rick and Morty, dropping a working portal gun right into your survival world. You point, shoot, and tear a hole through space. It skips the need for traditional obsidian frames entirely. You can link two walls inside your house or instantly bridge a massive gap between the Overworld and a custom modded dimension.

The developer built this around actual survival mechanics rather than treating it like a creative mode cheat. The gun requires craftable Portal Fluid to function, so you have to actively maintain your ammo supply to keep your travel network open. Losing a high-value tool like this would be a massive setback, so it comes with a built-in tracker to help you recover the gun if you die. It also remembers coordinates. You can save your main storage room or a distant stronghold directly to the device, turning it into a personal fast-travel menu.



The actual portal physics hold up surprisingly well on the Bedrock engine. The rifts adjust their size depending on the surface you hit, and stepping through one calculates your momentum correctly so you do not take random fall damage on the other side. You get a few custom gun skins and some show-inspired cosmetics to match the theme. It completely rewrites how you handle long-distance travel.
