Survival in vanilla Bedrock involves a lot of tedious repetition. You spend hours chopping down massive spruce trees block by block, manually replacing broken pickaxes in the middle of a mining session, and dealing with double doors that stubbornly refuse to open at the same time. Bedrock Essentials Plus fixes all of that by rolling the most popular quality-of-life tweaks into one cohesive pack. Instead of risking world corruption by mixing a dozen different behavior scripts from different creators, you get a single, streamlined add-on that completely removes the most boring survival chores.

The core of the pack focuses heavily on speeding up resource gathering. By simply holding the crouch button while working, you trigger both the Tree Capitator and Vein Miner mechanics, allowing you to instantly wipe out entire trees or massive ore deposits with a single swing of your tool. To handle the massive explosion of loot that comes from vein mining, the pack introduces an Auto Pickup feature that vacuums items directly into your inventory, alongside an Auto Tool Switch system that dynamically swaps to the correct item for whatever block you are looking at. Because these automation tools can occasionally get in the way when you are trying to build delicately, they are disabled by default. You have to manually type /pickup enable or /ats enable directly into the chat to turn them on, and you can disable them just as easily when you are done digging.

The base management and exploration tweaks are just as impactful. Exploring deep caves feels entirely different thanks to a functional flashlight that provides moving illumination, and if you do happen to fall into a ravine, the game will instantly print your exact death coordinates in the chat so you can easily rush back to save your gear. Back at your base, farming becomes completely effortless through an auto-replant mechanic that instantly replaces seeds the moment you harvest your crops. You can also finally open double doors simultaneously just by interacting with the bottom half of the frame, and manage your gear using a much smoother anvil repair system. The addon even tackles one of the oldest community requests by allowing you to break and collect mob spawners using Silk Touch. However, to keep the game balanced, the spawner will drop empty rather than letting you carry around a specific mob type to easily build overpowered farms anywhere you want.
