Syntax's Weaponry [Guns Addon]

Most gun add-ons on Bedrock are a technical nightmare to install. Creators usually force you to toggle every single experimental feature in the world settings, which immediately breaks compatibility with other behavior packs, permanently flags your world file, and completely locks you out of earning Xbox achievements. Syntax's Weaponry bypasses that outdated methodology entirely. It introduces a fully functional firearm system without requiring a single experimental toggle, meaning it is 100% achievement compatible and runs natively on a clean survival Realm.

Instead of just dropping overpowered weapons into your lap or relying on messy command-block shops, this add-on integrates directly into the vanilla progression loop. You actually have to grind for your arsenal. The pack introduces new custom ores like Potassium Nitrate and Sulfur—which spawn specifically in Deserts, Savannas, and Mesas—alongside Zinc to craft your own Gunpowder and Brass Ingots. Once you smelt Steel Ingots using charcoal and iron, you build the weapons at a dedicated Gunsmith Table. The arsenal covers everything from a Beretta M9 and Glock 17 to an AK47 and an M16a4.

The engine optimization is where this project really excels. Gun mods usually tank the internal tick rate because the game struggles to calculate high-velocity projectile entities and rapid-fire audio channels simultaneously. Syntax kept the architecture incredibly lightweight—the entire file size comes in at just around 400 KB. The custom sound effects are cleanly compressed, and the auto-reload system pulls specific ammunition (like 9mm, .45 ACP, or 12-gauge shells) directly from your inventory like a highly advanced bow script. This means you do not suffer from the phantom inventory desync, broken UI animations, or delayed hit registration that typically ruins multiplayer shootouts.

It completely transforms Minecraft's floaty melee combat into a tight, responsive shooter. Are you just going to forge a basic 9mm pistol to safely clear out local Creeper spawns, or are you going to mass-produce assault rifles to run a massive Battle Royale across your Realm?
