Immortal Cats Addon

Anyone who has spent serious time in a Bedrock survival world knows the headache of keeping pets alive. You spend twenty minutes crouching around a village, burning through raw cod to tame a stray, dye its collar, and decide to bring it along on a cave expedition. Within fifteen minutes, the engine's pathfinding falls apart. The cat either teleports directly into a lava pocket, wanders into a skeleton crossfire, or gets crushed by falling gravel. After losing two or three named pets to dumb AI glitches, most players just give up and leave them sitting permanently on a bed as glorified furniture.
The Immortal Cats pack by INTOR completely cuts out that frustration by eliminating vulnerability altogether. The second an untamed cat becomes a pet, the behavior pack strips away its damage receptors. This isn't just a lazy health boost or a fast regeneration loop that still gets overwhelmed by suffocating blocks or lava ticks; damage interactions simply do not register. Point-blank Creeper blasts, falls from build height, lightning, drowning, and accidental swings from your own sword bounce right off without chipping a single heart. Wild strays remain completely standard, meaning the invulnerability only kicks in once you actually tame the animal. The only thing that can erase a tamed cat from the save file is an admin explicitly typing /kill in chat.
The biggest reason to run this over other pet tweaks is that achievements stay enabled. A lot of Bedrock companion mods force you to turn on experimental gameplay toggles. Flipping those settings on a long-term survival world is usually a bad idea—it permanently bricks achievement progress, flags the world as modified, and frequently breaks when Mojang pushes a minor version update. This pack modifies entity behavior cleanly without touching player.json or relying on experimental scripting. It runs natively on Realms, console hardware, and low-end mobile devices without triggering inventory desync or tick-rate stutter.
It turns cats into what they were originally meant to be: reliable, mobile Creeper deterrence. You can drag a pet down to deepslate level, sprint through ravines, and actually focus on mining rather than babysitting suicidal pathfinding.
