If she spots you, break line-of-sight and dive into a wardrobe or under a bed, then wait for her mutter line to fade before moving. Work the house in loops. Start with quick clears of the entry, kitchen, and basement for screwdrivers, cutters, and keys, then rotate upstairs once you’ve baited Granny with a deliberate noise—drop a jar in the foyer, circle wide, and loot the opposite wing while she checks it. Place found tools at choke points (stairs landing, safe room) so you’re not backtracking through traps. Shut doors behind you to mask which way you turned; if you trip a bear trap, crouch-shimmy to its edge and step out instead of jumping.

Brightness just high enough to read texture edges keeps corners visible without blowing your stealth. Third-person peek for stair corners, first-person for tight drawers and locks.
