Ju-on The Sanatorium Chapter 2 Horror Map

This is the second chapter of the Ju-on horror map series, taking players into an abandoned sanatorium. The gameplay heavily depends on a custom resource pack that completely swaps out vanilla Minecraft assets. It injects custom 3D models, unique textures, eerie background sounds, and specific visual filters designed to create a heavy Japanese horror atmosphere.

There is a technical catch you need to watch out for before opening the world. Because the pack overrides so many base files, Minecraft frequently fails to activate the resource pack automatically on certain mobile devices or specific game versions. If you load in and see standard blocks or hear regular game audio, the map will be completely broken. You have to go into the world settings and manually force-enable the resource pack yourself.



The map relies on tight, dark corridors and exploration, utilizing custom audio cues and visual triggers to deliver scares.

Installation instructions:
Android: use the file manager, go to the directory with the downloaded map file and open it.
Windows 10: open the folder with the downloaded file and activate the mcworld file.
IOS: after downloading, your mobile device will prompt you to install the map.
