Chromatic Visuals Rewrite Shaders

Shaders

The Chromatic Visuals Rewrite shader injects a massive dose of color right into your Minecraft Bedrock world. It completely ditches the boring default lighting for custom fog, vibrant block colors, and unique night skies that change based on your location.

Vanilla graphics get old fast. You spend all this time building a base, but everything just looks washed out. This pack fixes that immediately. The lighting engine got a total overhaul to make every single biome pop. Instead of flat textures, you get thick, atmospheric fog that makes exploring caves feel totally different. The moon even shifts colors depending on where you are standing at night. It sounds like a tiny detail, but it changes the whole vibe of a survival session. Light sources got tweaked too. Torches and lanterns don’t just spit out that boring yellow glow anymore. They cast bright, saturated colors that actually look decent in the dark.

You won't find PBR or MER files baked into this specific version yet. Normal and height maps are planned for a future update. Honestly though, leaving them out right now gives you way more freedom. You can just drop your favorite texture pack underneath this shader in your settings, and the game borrows those files instead. Built with some help from Stephen Le, this rewrite runs surprisingly well. You get a genuinely vibrant atmosphere without dealing with unplayable lag spikes. Drop it into your active resources and see for yourself.
