GraveStones Mod

Here’s the loop with GraveStones mod: when you die, you spawn holding a one-off key. Put it in your hand to see exact coordinates plus distance, then hike straight to the marker. Only you can open your grave—even if someone else somehow has your key—and there are eight grave variants that show up based on how much XP you had when you died. Lost the key? Craft a replacement and it’ll still bind to that grave. If two players die in the same spot, the mod drops graves side by side so nothing gets overwritten.
Treat recovery like a mini-mission. Keep a “corpse run” chest at base with food, blocks, torches, and a spare pick. For Nether deaths, bring Fire Resistance and bridge in from the side instead of jumping right over the splash zone. For End deaths over the void, the grave is safely relocated to y=1 with helper blocks—carry pearls and ladders, drop to the platform, then build a clean path back. Hotbar 1 = blocks, 2 = food, 3 = the key, so you’re not fumbling on approach.
On Realms, call your distance in chat so a friend can escort you through bad biomes. Admins can still recover stuck cases with the admin tag, but only the owner can open the stash—clean and grief-proof. Once you’re geared again, stash the key for records or toss it; GraveStones mod already did its job.
