Job System Mod makes progression feel intentional instead of random. You open a clean menu, choose a role, and start stacking payouts for actually doing the stuff you already like—mining, farming, fighting, whatever your loop is. Rewards and cooldowns are configurable, there’s a sensible job limit to stop spam, and the built-in economy lets you check balance or pay players without duct-tape plugins. Type !jbal whenever you want a quick read on your money, use !jpay for swaps between friends, and keep !adminpay tagged to your staff so they can run event prizes without breaking pace.
Set it up like a tiny MMO. At spawn, drop a “Hiring Desk” sign with the compass to the GUI, post your reward table on a board, and tune early jobs to get newcomers hooked fast without inflating the market. Quests and achievements fold into the same flow: clear a task, get paid, see the ping in chat, move on. On SMP, rotate a weekly “double pay” job to shift traffic around the map; on solo worlds, treat jobs like gentle goals that nudge you toward bigger builds.
