Simple Sit Mod

Addons / Addons 1.21

Simple Sit Mod is one of those quality-of-life things you don’t realize you need until you start using it in a survival world or on a server. You just stand on a solid block, hit /sit, and your character sits right there—no weird setup, and it won’t trigger if you’re mid-air or already sitting.

Where Simple Sit Mod really pops is the SitUI editor. Admins can open /situi and build the whole “what can players sit on” rule set in-game. You can add blocks like stairs, fences, or slabs, then get super specific with permutation / block state logic. Stuff like “only sit on stairs that aren’t upside down,” or “let people sit on doors only when they’re closed,” and you can chain rules with && and || to make it as strict or as chill as your server needs.

It also has an exclusion system for dodging specific variants that feel buggy or just look wrong, plus a one-button reset to default if your config gets messy. And if someone breaks the block supporting a seat, the mod automatically removes the seat and safely pops the player out, which is huge for keeping things smooth during normal gameplay. Your settings persist too, since everything saves through dynamic world properties, so you don’t lose your setup after a restart.
