Minecraft's archery setup has been stuck in the past forever. You craft one basic wooden bow, slap Power V on it, and that’s your entire ranged strategy for the rest of the game. BowsPlus finally gives bows the same material tiers as tools and swords. You can actually upgrade your gear to iron, diamond, or netherite, which speeds up the draw time, gives them decent durability, and bumps up the base damage.



The late-game bows also pack built-in elemental effects and perks, so you don't have to waste inventory space hoarding tons of expensive tipped arrows just to get a bit of crowd control during a raid or a PvP fight.
