Ores & Gears Mod

Vanilla mining gets incredibly stale once you hit diamond and netherite. You just strip mine for hours with nothing new to find. The Ores and Gears addon completely shatters that boring progression by dumping over twenty brand new ores into your world. It forces you to rethink your entire grind from the Overworld straight through to The End. Instead of stopping at standard gear, you get a massive variety of materials to hunt down, ranging from basic Bronze to insanely rare Voidite.



The amount of content here is ridiculous. Every new material comes with a complete set of armor, weapons, and tools. They even threw in gear for vanilla items that never had any, like Slime and Obsidian. You do not have to memorize crazy new recipes either. Everything uses the classic crafting table layouts you already know by heart. They also made sure these ores spawn in loot chests and village trades, making exploration feel rewarding.

If you love showing off, you can compress all these gems into stunning decorative blocks. The custom textures feature full PBR support, so everything looks incredibly polished while fitting the vanilla aesthetic. Digging straight down is actually fun again when you constantly stumble across glowing Sapphire or dark Infernite. Throw this massive pack into your survival realm, and you will realize how empty the base game underground truly is.
