Crafty-The Companion Mod

Single-player survival can get super quiet after a while, so having a companion mod like Crafty is honestly a massive game-changer. Instead of just giving you a dumb pet that immediately wanders into lava or gets stuck behind a fence, this add-on drops in an actual smart partner that genuinely helps you out while you explore.

The coolest thing is that Crafty is basically a walking game wiki. You can actually chat with him in English or Hindi, and he can pull up crafting recipes, explain mob behaviors, or give you survival tips right on the fly. The craziest part is the learning system—if you ask him something he doesn't know, you can literally teach him the answer, and he'll actually remember it for next time. It makes your specific companion feel completely unique the longer you play with him.



He also just feels way more alive than standard Minecraft mobs. He has a ton of really smooth animations and actually reacts to what's going on around you, like getting visibly scared if danger shows up or sprinting to catch up if you get too far ahead. You can rename him whatever you want, and it’s just a really fun way to make your world feel a lot less empty, especially if you are tackling a massive building project or strip-mining all by yourself.
