Knives Out Mod

Knives Out Mod is made for that phase of the game where you’re broke, surrounded by mobs, and every ingot actually matters. Instead of dumping all your iron or stone into full swords, you can craft lightweight knives that cost about half as much material and hit for about half the damage. They’re not meant to replace your best gear forever, but they’re clutch when you just need something sharp in your hand fast.

In a normal survival world or MCPE run, these knives shine in the early game and in worlds where ore is limited. You can gear up quicker after a fresh spawn, hand out starter weapons to friends on a Realm, or stash backup knives in chests near risky spots like mob farms, mineshafts, or nether portals. Because each one uses fewer resources, you can afford to lose them in dumb deaths without feeling like you just threw away a full sword’s worth of progress.



Later on, Knives Out Mod still holds up as a utility option. They’re great for “cheap but good enough” tools when you’re clearing trash mobs, running throwaway exploration routes, or doing challenge runs where you intentionally limit your gear. Instead of punching zombies with your fists when everything goes wrong, you’ve always got a low-cost blade ready to get you back on your feet.
